No Fare Street Fair

This Sunday down on 18th St there's a trifecta of food, fun, & technology.  All put on by Adorama electronics. Petting zoo (if you still get high, I know you're excited 'bout that), rides, blah blah something.

For free there are photography clinics (in the Adorama Technology Learning Center.  Learn how to shoot photos and videos from the experts and and check out the newest technology from the experts!  Get better at pictures so you can tell your sister to stop duck-lipping it in the bathroom with her iPhone (& toilet) in view.  Otherwise she won't marry off and you'll have to trade three goats to find a good family.  That's how marriage works, right?

Ever wonder when you're gonna get around to that imagined life of socializing while enjoying the awesomely placed woodsy land of shady pond-heavy Central Park?  Maybe the word "free" will finally get "do something healthy" off your checklist this weekend, my too-busy little city-buttercups.

NYC Parks and ... Who cares but sounds cool magazine is having their 9th whatever.... Listen: it's in Central Park, free and starts at 11am-4pm at the 72nd/5th st entrance.  Get out and be happy you've socialized this weekend.  Maybe we'll finally loose that freshman 15 everyone talks about but we've not even noticed.  Does anyone know where I put my belt?!

Okay... Stay safe while battling the Central Park trees.  They have actually taken lives.  You did want adventure, right?

Free Concert - Free Picnic Blanket

Haven't been to Jacobi Medical Center?  Yeah, I don't know what it is either.  But here's your chance, my awesome little breakfast cereals... The Latin band Son de Madre, (which I think means son of mom?  I'm no expert) is playing.  What do you know them from?  Beats me, but Cuban music sounds kinda cool.  Especially if it's free and they are giving the first 100 people free picnic blankets.

Summer Stage - This New York City-based event will have over 100 free music, dance, film, comedy, family and theater programs in 17 parks across the five boroughs. It will go take place June 4–August 29, 2013

Free Fitness Classes

Mayor of NYC Michael Bloomberg is a total fitness nut (in a good way)!  Did you know that he's raised the price of cigarettes to where residents actually have to pay up to $15 a pack?  Or that he's currently fighting for legislation he sponsored which will limit the amount of sugary drinks you are allowed to purchase in New York?

Well... if you can't beat him (you can, but it'll cost ya) then join him.  But... why pay when you can take fitness classes for free?

There are so many fitness and health classes for free in NYC that I will literally have to update and edit this list weekly, so I'm not quite sure how to take this monkey to the show... I guess I'll start with a list:
